If anyone from the latest friending meme passes by, hi and welcome ^^

Good news, everyone: there's nothing wrong with me, apparently. It means I'm either crazy or hypochondriac. That's... special right there. At least I haven't hurt in days now, so it must be gone now.

In news that nobody else cares about: I can finally cast Indignation in ToA! It took aaaaages. I have a special relationship with Indignation, see. In ToS, on my first playthrough I was so underleveled Genis didn't learned the fucking thing until the last dungeon, barely in time for the final battle with Yggdrassil. But yeah, now Jade can do the most badass Mystic Arte and that's what counts :D

More 'give me a character' memeage. Rakushun and the Medicine Seller )

1. Finished Twelve Kingdoms ;____; I really loved this anime, so it's time to hit the novels.

2. Mom and the brothers are nuts. They got me Big Brain Academy. However, we might change it back and get Brain Age 2 when it's out instead.

I wonder if I can hold back until mid-July and get Elite Beat Agents instead, though. Besides the Dr. Mario minigame, I don't see how different BA2 can be from the first one.

3. ...I just realized something extremely obvious, but didn't dawned on me until today. You know the little prince, from the Saint-Exupéry book? He was AN ALIEN. Duh, of course he was. But this was the first time I said it aloud using that term.

4. I have the new layout for my fanlisting collective almost done. Why am I doing this instead of doing the urgent codes that must be done ASAP? No idea, honestly.

Duuuuuuuuuuude. They're opening a FNAC store in Coruña! And precisely next Wednesday. I might go and take a look without bringing money, because it's dangerous after the final. Sweet!

Regarding the, er, quest for a lasting game for my new, shiny NDS, who still is unnamed (Yuuko? Robin? how about Crowley?! I never name stuff over books, and there's something evil about that little black-colored Nintendo spawn). I think we have a winner.

I still have my doubts, because it has some strategy, and I hate playing strategy. Besides, it's the fact Bejeweled spin-offs will always make me think of Jewel Quest, also known as "mom's crack" or "that Mayan-esque shit that keeps mom awake till 4:00 am". Buying this would make me wonder if I really have something in common with the maternal unit, besides liking sun+moon decoration motives.

But I made the mistake of testing the PC demo. It's quite enjoyable. Also, quite bizarre. Because really, you fight people by playing puzzles! Well, magic too, but with mana you collected from... the puzzle! I think this is funny because that's how the game IS. My wizard level 7 in the demo fought rats, bats, orcs, and zombies, among other beings, last night. With Bejeweled. So WTF it's awesome :D :D

...I do have a thing for weird games, don't I? Let's consider that the game I bought before Twilight Princess and Okami was We Love Katamari.

But now, seriously. I'll try Elite Beat Agents (and some of your suggestions, you can still make any :3) on emulation after the exam, and if I like it enough I might buy it when it comes out here.

ETA: [livejournal.com profile] arcadia_ be damned for linking me to a compilation of translation for the Twelve Kingdoms novels. Before the exam!

ETA 2: I think I'm going to change my fanlisting collective's name. It's been months since I grew sick of it. It's so... fangirl Japanese. Don't know what I was thinking back then, four years ago.

ETA 3: Harry Potter 7 will be 28.50€ here. OUCH.

I'm still not up-to-date with One Piece, but I just spoiled myself about that thing about Brook's past, you know. HOW MADE OF AWESOME, Oda. *squishes whale plushie*

And in pure procrastination, I went and finished watching the third arc of Twelve Kingdoms. I'm in awe, you guys. This is good shit. This is good storytelling. And I'm not one to fangirl plots with armies and invasions and rebellions (I feel asleep a bit during The Two Towers). But it was so, so good. I had my doubts at first, because Suzu and Shoukei used to be really annoying, but the three girls grew so well as persons. Nice character development, really. And Youko was kickass. Saying that, gee Rakushun, you truly have a touch~~ put any overagressive, bratty girl a week with him, and it works like a charm! XD

No, I mean it, it's an AWESOME arc. Meanwhile, I'm forcing myself NOT to watch the last six episodes. I'm all "we can't stop here, this is En country!", but as a matter of fact I'm stopping there because it'll be En-centric and that's hot and I should be studying now. Nnnnng.

...GIP?

Firefox chose that icon, hahahaha. OK so, is the Strikethrough-gate over yet? I'm overwhelmed and oversaturated over the whole disaster by now. It didn't help that almost everyone was fretting about it, and no journaling server with the info (LJ, JF...) acted robust during the wank.

Yeah, I was bugged at the whole bahleetion without solid evidences or checking, even if it's not really my problem -I still haven't shipped any incest pairing, and all my pseudo-pedo pairings have the "child" only pretending to be one because they're 3746736 years old and stuff; yeah, it shows I'm weird. But the crusades were too much for me to follow. And yeah, I'll be staying here because, well, I'm too comfortable over here and the moon in Taurus on my astral chart is showing.

So, from you guys, who are the ones leaving LJ forever? I want to know :3

Moving on...

1. I think I managed to make a layout for the Ling Yao fanlisting. Preview. It's... well, orange. Might change the title if I come up with something better.

2. I started watching The Twelve Kingdoms during the Strikethrough. I'm half through it, just finished the second arc. I dig it a lot, it's cool fantasy with magical creatures and politics and other world, and that's great. I find the ruler-kirin system interesting, too. So far my favorite characters are King En and Enki; they're just awesome, and I LOVED their backstories. Rakushun is extremely adorable, too. But really, I don't dislike any important character -except King Kou, but he's an asshole and I'm glad he's going to die.

So anyway, I've added the first novel to my must-buy list, along with the Slayers and Kino no Tabi novels.

3. I'm sooooo easily distracted these days D: Can someone tell my will to start studying for my finals already?
