You know what bothers me the most? In a world with logic, the character that has been dead before all his series started and who only shows up for a couple of pages every several volumes would be the least likely to attract all the gigantic plotholes. But what can I say, this is CLAMP logic I'm talking about.
If it turns out it *is* the same guy, I'll have to perfect my techniques on Writing Around The Issue. Because I'm too much of a perfectionist to downright contradict canon, blah.
