Please, people, tell me to STUDY
1. How to survive an alien attack, or at least according to Hollywood. Awesome. Oh, and there's a new YGO Abridged episode out!
2. By the way, in an amazing withdrawal from actual supernatural stuff that doesn't involve TRC happening in XXXHOLiC for, like, months, I went and finished Petshop of Horrors, including what's been done of the sequel. I loved it, it's pretty creepy ♥
3. Speaking of PSoH and aliens, there's something I want to ask to all of you who have a better grasp of Japanese folklore than me. Is it really true that the Japanese used to believe in an immortal race/group of beings living on the moon, apart from the infamous rabbit preparing mochi? I mean, I do know the Kaguya-hime myth, but not every variation mentions some others than her living up there. So I started to wonder it because my google-fu is failing me, and I see no other mentions anywhere besides that and one Petshop dialog. And well, this manga isn't exactly accurate mythology wise...
Yup, this is actually an IMPORTANT question o_o An RP muse, several plotbunnies, and a character shrine depend on that knowledge!
4. Cutest TCG ever!

haro: Provide a character/characters and I will Sort them into a Hogwarts House. I'll also try to explain why and maybe talk about their ~adventures~ at Hogwarts.

I think Kenshin is a Gryffindor to a T. He pretty much lives to protect people, and has acted by guts without being really prepared several times. He rarely follows plans, he pretty much runs toward the danger, steps in, and tries to kick ass as his MO. Then again, most Shounen Jump protagonists are Gryffindors, period.
Kaoru might have some Gryffindor in her, but she's a Hufflepuff and I'll tell you why. She's worked hard to keep her dojo up despite of everything. And the speech she gave Kamatari about not mattering to her if the swordsman is a man or a woman, because herself isn't either when she picks her wooden sword? It sealed it.
Besides, raccoons are similar to badgers.no subject

Haruhi is supposed to be quite smart, but I see it in a bookish kind of way. So I'd send her to Hufflepuff since she's hardworking, and a big part of the premise of the series is her (mis)judging people.
Kyouya would be the kind of Slytherin who's not evil in nature, although he might be cruel for some things. But his drive to outshine his brothers and be far in life, that's really easy to see.
Tamaki hits me as a Gryffindor because he's not only an attention whore, but the kind of guy to do strong things for the ones he love (ie, his mom). He also acts with his guts, mostly. There's the 'puff loyalty, but I see him more like a lion. Also, that time at the beach where he jumps to save Haruhi seals it.
I want to say the twins are Gryffindors, except it might be because they started like a more assholish version of Fred and George. But I don't see them as ambitious, or learning-driven (even if the anime had them reading a lot), or hardworking. So Gryffindor it is. Especially Hikaru.
Mori might be a Hufflepuff for the extreme loyalty, with some Gryffindor on the side.
...I have no idea about Honey. I guess a Gryffindor because I see nothing of the other houses in him.

My, you're kinda harsh with the poor Slytherins XD
Agreeing with every sorting!

God, they are so much! XD Except better.
Honey... is a big mystery to me. yeah.

I'm fond of snarky Puffs :3 Might be because I'm one as secondary house.
The thing with Honey is that he's the one with the least personality showing from the lot. When even ones like Nekozawa have shown more character motivations than you, you know you have a problem...

For the meme, hmmm... Iroh?

You know what? Let's just hijack him to Ravenclaw :D We need more awesome people.

molehouse. I can pin her as a Hufflepuff-Gryffindor hybrid, while Iroh is literally all over the place.no subject
Waka for the meme?

I can't imagine Waka NOT being a Slytherin, half or mostly. But see, he's of the rare kind who works for good. Sure, he has some of the collective Gryffindorness in all the other main male characters, and his loyalty is pretty much Hufflepuff. However, I think he's a Slytherin because he's cunning, plans ahead, sets his goals high, and doesn't hesitate to do ugly things (or not doing anything at all) in order to get stuff done. Usually by others, true, but that's also sort of Slytherinish in a way. He might be a Dumbledore-like kind of Gryffindor if not, though.

Also study and you'll be free to think about the plotbunnies this meme will surely pop.

He is brave enough to be a cool-headed kind of Gryffindor. However, we've mostly seen him risking his skin for Watanuki or Watanuki-related things, so it's hard to tell if it's not actually a stubborn Hufflepuff loyalty in incognito. So I'm torn between those two options. If he ever does something stupid for the sake of someone who's not Watanuki before the manga is over, I'll tag him Gryffindor. I really hope he is one, because he seems too lazy and aloof to be a Hufflepuff in the everyday.
Eh, this meme isn't really inspiring me plotbunnies. On the other hand, I haven't started one crossover drabble meme from a month or two ago...

Let's see. She's so not a Ravenclaw, unless we're talking about learning gossips. I don't see her as a Hufflepuff either. I think Gryffindor would suit her better, in a twisted, bitter McGonagall sort of way, if only because the idea of Slytherin!Granny would not only scare us but also her. Even if she enjoys having some power on others, I'm seeing more lion.
Or she could go to Awesomehouse with Iroh!

I think Kino has a lot of Ravenclaw as well, since her journeys are all about learning about the countries she visits with the least subjectivity possible. At least that's what transmits me with her curiosity, so I'll put her as half Claw.
Ginko also has a lot of knowledge about the mushi, but Adashino and Tanyuu are way more Claw than him. I think he's half Hufflepuff, because he's so open-minded and fair in general, and works really hard to get to the bottom of things. He might be the nicest of them three.
It's hard to say if the medicine seller is either a full-fledged Gryffindor or a half Slytherin with the little we know of him. On one hand, his determination and will to fight seems more Gryff in general. On the other, his MO ends up being fucked up sometimes, implying it doesn't matter to him how things affect others as long as the mononoke is vanquished, and that could or not be Slyth. If we knew the reason why he kills mononoke, then I might pin him, but it's truly as mystery as usual.
