There was a bit of a timeline in CCS that I can't be bothered to dig up my notes on again. I think at the end I had them as nearly done with whatever level of school they were in at the series started or something.

I put down the lack of changes in the school year as part of FWR being a manipulative bastard to try to isolate Watanuki because I still believe he's actually the most important character in both plots. That, or the space-time continuum is breaking and it's still FWR's fault that Watanuki et al are stuck repeating high school in a loop (a personal nightmare).

The other ones were already established to be in the same world by crossovers between the works. Legal Drug is set a bit after the end of Suki, and xxxHOLiC is at an indeterminate time in Legal Drug, and Kobato is the same but with xxxHOLiC. There was something I had almost worked out, but now...

I disagree about CCS having a timeline. I once went and tried to count the number of springs, and it was more than three. Which is impossible unless everyone (including Touya and Yukito) repeated course at least once. And mind you, by the time Nakuru popped around, those two weren't even supposed to still be in high school since they started the series in sophomore year. In the end I gave up.
