All this Indiana Jones posts made me want to rewatch the old trilogy. But since I can't be buying the pack and I'm too lazy to download them, I decided to rent them if they had it in the crappy video rental near the supermarket. I still had some bucks in the card for the club's ATM-like machine.

...Not only my card was expired, but the whole CLUB was. Apparently they went out of business two weeks ago. I am not surprised, because like I said they were crappy, but this screwed up my afternoon plans.

So I checked my unwatched downloaded stuff, and I picked Disney's Beauty and the Beast, since it was another childhood classic. And this one had the "Human Again" scene, which I had never seen. I really liked the sequence.

And you know, the prince managed to look even uglier than I remembered. I was wondering if we weren't exaggerating the whole thing and keep on believing our own childhood wanky opinions for our sanity's sake. But trust me, we so weren't. He was THAT ugly.

Por fin puedo sentarme a escribir algo coherente y no-tan-corto sobre esto~

Entiendo lo del fugly prince, pero a mi me gusto la escena de la transformación, me gusto que tanto el espectador como Belle pudieran ver el proceso, bien lo dicen en el comentario de la película el director y Alan Meken, el príncipe no podía salir debajo de un mantel a lo “¡voilá!” cuál truco de mago. Narrativamente me gusta, pesé a que yo le hubiera puesto el color del cabello más parecido al pelaje de Bestia. Siguiendo con la forma en que se cuenta la historia, junto con sus detalles, creo que la escena donde Belle curiosea por el Ala Oeste y encuentra el retrato del príncipe es fundamental en la escena final. Eso junto con el dialogo entre ella, Cogsworth y Lumiere, donde les hace saber que se dio cuenta por si misma de que se encontraba en un castillo encantado; es una chica inteligente, seguro se dio una idea de que esas apariencias (candelabro, reloj, tetera) no eran reales, esto incluyendo a Bestia, sobre todo al darse cuenta de la humanidad en su interior.
Rant que pertenece a mi LJ, lo sé xD, pero es lo que necesito mencionar para soltar que no me parece tan precipitada la reacción de Belle ante Bestia transformado. Lo que sí estuvo fatal fue la falta de imágenes donde el espectador haga un puente entre príncipe y Bestia, pero que hayan robado la escena final del baile de “La bella durmiente” para usarlo de final te da una idea de la falta de tiempo que tenían ^^UU

....Ahora Indy me recuerda inmediatamente a Raine 8D E-ella es más fan que yo XD (yo nunca fui fan, la verdad XDD) Yo tengo que ver la dos y la tres /o/ (Sobre todo ahora con lo que Fu me dijo que el villano de la dos es tipo Tyki 8D)

LA BELLA Y LA BESTIA! x3 Tengo que rever la película. Hace tiempo quise verla con mis hermanitos y justo nos quedamos en la escena de (8)Ser humano otra veeez(8) Lo que me recuerda que me gusto mucho la letra :O

....Y ese post me PARTE DE RISA OMG XDDDDD (Y me pokea muchisimo para verme las peliculas de Ghibli TENIAN PELICULA DE SHERLOCK HOLMES Y NO LA HE VISTO?!?1'1?) Recuerdo que me parecio lindo que se transformara y todo, pero de verdad, el principe era mas feo que el hambre 8D;;;;

T-tenia mas que decir pero corro porque OMG EXAMEEEEEN!11!!

Indeed: I sometimes think to myself "oh he can't be as bad as I remember" (but then I see the movie again and "oh yeah he totally is that bad" ^_^;;;).

OTOH, even if the Prince was really pretty it still sucks to lose Beast. Beast = awesomesauce.
