Expensive shit is expensive
Back home now.
1. Remember the thing about the cat being too fat? Apparently, it's true... he's overweighted for a Siamese-type (although it seems Jazz is a Tonkinese, not a pure Siamese). Either way, he got sick, and the vet just diagnosed him diabetes. Yup, the cat is diabetic. And now dealing with a special diet! No more turkey ham, kiddo.
2. I was planning to buy the new Rurouni Kenshin special edition, since I never got to buy the regular manga when it was released here. Except the price is 12€ each volume, and they're 22. I PASS! It hurts me because I was excited about it, but the publisher is nuts. With the cost of two volumes, I can get three of other series. Or even an artbook.
3. On the other hand, the Mushishi deluxe DVD pack for Spain is just so, so shiny. It even includes a really thick booklet with content/illustrations, and an exclusive postcard signed by the director. But the most amazing part?
Presentación: Caja de Madera. (Boxset layout: WOODEN BOX)
WOODEN?! O_O That's... it does sound awesome considering the series itself. On the other hand, it makes it even more expensive, I'm sure. I... really want to buy it, wooden box or not, but it's 70€. I've never bought an anime boxset before, but this one is so fucking amazing and one of a kind I'm even considering it even though I can't afford it.

I watched the first two episodes with my mum today and I didn't quite remember how BEAUTIFUL this series is, good lord. I don't think I'll be regretting buying it.
But I still haven't bought the last Monster box jkfhsdf;jkd D:no subject

And woah pretty Mushishi box. It's cool to see the different art for the series in different countries. And the wooden box thing sounds really awesome (really fits the series well). I know Euros don't equal dollars but Mushishi for me was about US $120. That's average for an American series (although now prices are going down with sub only releases).

70 euros is around 110 dollars, so considering things it's a pretty good price for a limited deluxe edition. In Spain, normally the boxset for one season of a series (anime or live action) is around 40-50 bucks. So it's a fair deal, but it's still loads of money to me. I won't be able to buy new manga/books for a while if I get Mushishi.

Oh god, that is such a sexy box, The Kino one I got was around.. 40$ dollars *I got the price on pesos so I don't really know XD* but yeah let's say Kino is 14 episodes and it didn't came with extra material, if I was a Mushishi fan I would buy that boxset :O!! *but then again I tend to spend money pretty fast XD;;*, If only México would get to even release DVD's orz
