Guess who went downtown
I actually got myself the Mushishi Collector's Edition (Spanish) pack. It's. Just. That's the prettiest thing I've ever bought. Like I mentioned, it's a wooden box, yes. Then there's the booklet, 56 pages, with character designs, character profiles (even for minor characters), and even screencaps of the artistic part -like backgrounds and stuff. For each episode there's a tiny doodle. The amazing thing is that the booklet cover, plus the postcard (with a cute Ginko-covered-with-snow doodle on one side with Nagahama's autograph and The Sore Feet Song lyrics on the other), are made with this rough, textured cardboard paper (it's probably made with recycled pulp?). I wish I could scan the whole booklet but I'm afraid to open it too wide. The postcard I will, though.
It's all so gorgeous I get a knot in my throat when I stare at it. I fear I won't be able to buy a DVD pack ever again because the top standards are so high now. (just kidding)
If I get myself a camera, I'll take photos.
Other stuff I got:
- FMA #12 (I'm behind, but couldn't find #13)
- RG Veda #1

The booklet you got sounds like it is what us Americans got except ours was separated into different booklets for each DVD release.
And you reminded me I never finished watching my final Mushishi DVD.
