[Poll #1251688]
Don't ask...
I'm having this... desire of retaking that idea of making an Okami fansite besides that shrine project. Please, someone shoot me in the face now. And it's not even the only idea I have. It's horrible, wanting to build websites without feeling the slightest sign of willpower.
Also, why isn't iTunes opening?!
Also, can anyone recommend me a good FTP software? Mine is getting too annoying and buggy right now.
And a tiny reflection. Any time I see at the factoids in regards of The Gavinners and shit just doesn't sound plausible, there's something important to consider: this was originally a Japanese game hapenning in Japan. Therefore, when you imagine Garyuu Wave as a J-rock band instead of a Western band? Everything makes fucking sense then. And I don't only mean silly things like their clothes, having 12 CDs, the existence of that kind of merchandising, being able to go out normally and have a second job without getting mauled by crazy stalker fangirls. I mean important plotholes where you'd call bullshit on the game, like Daryan and his plane issues -a popular American band should be doing world tours all the time. And even if they could leave the country, would the police department and the prosecutor's office let the lot have such frequent breaks without firing their punk asses, or they enjoy the good publicity the G-men give them? Anyway, if this is a J-rock band, the whole culture around them doesn't sound odd at all.
Of course, this tempts to take as an Ace Attorney headcanon that this is a version of America in an AU world where Japan is the largest world potency instead of the US, and Germany and USA are just two of those important first-world countries after it. That would even justify why California is this japanized even after the localizations: the transcultural Japan-USA effect happened the other way around. Yet, America was still cool enough in the past to get several Japanese immigrants, which explains families like the Feys, the Kitaki, the Eldoons, and that guy Kudo's settling in generations ago. Recently they get more rich German immigrants (like the Von Karmas; maybe the Gavins?), though, and it's the cool thing to use fangirl German. It makes so much sense for the four whole games I might as well go ahead with it, even if I'm aware the real explanation is that those things were impossible to localize.
