[Poll #1251688]
Don't ask...
I'm having this... desire of retaking that idea of making an Okami fansite besides that shrine project. Please, someone shoot me in the face now. And it's not even the only idea I have. It's horrible, wanting to build websites without feeling the slightest sign of willpower.
Also, why isn't iTunes opening?!
Also, can anyone recommend me a good FTP software? Mine is getting too annoying and buggy right now.
And a tiny reflection. Any time I see at the factoids in regards of The Gavinners and shit just doesn't sound plausible, there's something important to consider: this was originally a Japanese game hapenning in Japan. Therefore, when you imagine Garyuu Wave as a J-rock band instead of a Western band? Everything makes fucking sense then. And I don't only mean silly things like their clothes, having 12 CDs, the existence of that kind of merchandising, being able to go out normally and have a second job without getting mauled by crazy stalker fangirls. I mean important plotholes where you'd call bullshit on the game, like Daryan and his plane issues -a popular American band should be doing world tours all the time. And even if they could leave the country, would the police department and the prosecutor's office let the lot have such frequent breaks without firing their punk asses, or they enjoy the good publicity the G-men give them? Anyway, if this is a J-rock band, the whole culture around them doesn't sound odd at all.
Of course, this tempts to take as an Ace Attorney headcanon that this is a version of America in an AU world where Japan is the largest world potency instead of the US, and Germany and USA are just two of those important first-world countries after it. That would even justify why California is this japanized even after the localizations: the transcultural Japan-USA effect happened the other way around. Yet, America was still cool enough in the past to get several Japanese immigrants, which explains families like the Feys, the Kitaki, the Eldoons, and that guy Kudo's settling in generations ago. Recently they get more rich German immigrants (like the Von Karmas; maybe the Gavins?), though, and it's the cool thing to use fangirl German. It makes so much sense for the four whole games I might as well go ahead with it, even if I'm aware the real explanation is that those things were impossible to localize.

... I love this game. XDDD

And it doesn't look like it, but for a clumsy noob he's pretty smart. Since his sidequest is annoyingly hard (it has four races, ugh), do you want me to spoil you what he tells you about Waka?

Copypasta from the script:
[Ammy retrieves the Tao Mask and returns it to Abe]
(Abe) Huh!? That thing you're wearing... Isn't that my Tao Mask that was stolen!? You brought it back for me!? Oh, thank you! Really, I mean it!
(Issun) Heh... He looked better without that silly thing.
(Abe) Well? How do I look?
(Issun) Oh, uh... Not bad, I guess. As long as you're happy...
(Abe) Really!? Anyway, I'd like to give you this to thank you for finding my mask. If you hold that bead in your hand and wish with all your heart, I, Abe, shall come rushing to your side - Anytime, anywhere!
(Issun) Yeah, right...
(Abe) Just kidding! Now for your real reward... You know, that secret about Capt. Waka I promised to tell you? Well, I've always been absolutely fascinated by Capt. Waka. That's why I've studied so much about him! You wouldn't believe what I found out!
(Issun) Try me...
(Abe) OK, the Tao Troopers have been around for over 200 years, but there's no mention of any captain before Capt. Waka! Pretty strange, huh?
(Issun) Er... I don't get it.
(Abe) In other words, if you look back over our 200-year history, the only captain's name that ever pops up is Capt. Waka's! That would make Capt. Waka over 200 years old!
(Issun) Now you have my attention. 200 years is nothing for someone like me, but for a human? Now that's just plain weird.
(Abe) There's also the matter of that magical projection device... Only he knows how to use it. He really is a mysterious figure!

... and he has a stalker fanboy. Who studied so much about him. XDDD Abe is so cute.
Oh, and speaking of cute. The making-yourself-tiny stuff made me realize that Issun is adorable. ♥
It also made me realize that I still fail at 3D because it took me ages to jump from spider to spider, siiigh.no subject
even if Waka does stalk Amaterasu a teeny bit. I see Abe as the fanboy/girl who tries to investigate EEEEEVERYTHING from the characters/actors/authors/musicians they're into and rereads the canon gazillion times to memorize it. I love Abe 'cause I can relate! D: (although there's also some rolemodeling, considering things)Issun is indeed cute :D His whole race is. The girls have butterfly wings as hats instead of beetle/scarabs. And you're going to like his grandpa a lot.

Awww, yes. ♥ That's better.
And Waka isn't stalking her! He's... Wise Old Mentor-ing!no subject

So yes, I think you're capable xD I've recently found out that keeping a list of stuff you have to do for a site/whatever helps a bit.
As for FTP, I use SmartFTP right now and it works just fine.

Mmmmm pués no sé.
