Holiday wishlist

...Oh now I get it! My titles looked weird because LJ programmers changed it for links. So, people with Flexible Squares, it's really easy to solve: just find (or create) .subject a and all variations of the a tag, and paste what you have for .subject in it. There's also a fix for Smooth Sailing, but I don't know the div names right now.

Anyway.

STEP ONE
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. [Note: Your home address is not required!]

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.

STEP TWO
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

1. Icons, pictures, and graphics (of things and people I like). You wouldn't believe how happy they make me. Icons of characters you know I love would be lovely. Also, if you find a stock icon of a sea turtle that doesn't suck, send the link to me. Or make me one.
   
   
2. Fanarts of my obscurest fandoms, or my obscure pairings, or my loved minor characters. Or hell, even scans of doujinshi or links to fanarts made by other people. It brightens my day to get recs, because there's so few to find.
   
   2.1 And you know, also fanart of pairings I like that have a large fandom works, too! Wading through pages and pages of shitty fanart gets in my nerves.
   
   
3. Fanfics are always appreciated. Genfics and fics about pairings I like are welcomed. The obscurer the better. Recs also work, of course! There are several characters/pairings I like a lot, but the fandom for the series or them seem so stupid I don't dare to hunt for them.
   
   
4. Reviews or concrits for fanstuff I do, be them fanfiction or icons except I haven't done icons in ages. Just telling me you really liked something I did, like a drabble or an RP log would make my fucking day. I rarely get enough feedback recently.
   
   
5. A LAYOUT HEADER. I want to change my layout, as much as I love this image of Ginko, but I still haven't figured out how to reinstall my Photoshop. So, a little help? (I feel like using Tales of Symphonia or Apollo Justice, if you want a suggestion, but anything you could make me that fits my taste will be awesome.)
   
   
6. I lost a lot of music and videos, so ignore my previous "no, don't upload stuff for me! how embarrassing!" and pass me something I want that I don't have -whether I lost it or never had it on the first place. Oh, and you know what else I lost?! My most recent texture folders for icons. And stupid me didn't write them down in her resources post. So any help to get textures from the past year would be appreciated.

There you go ^_^ Not listing the material wishlist because I already did. I'm making a post later today with a list of current favorite characters and couples, or at least things I'd like to find gifts/recs about.

ETA: Adding some suggestions.

CLAMP: XXXHOLiC/any other of my fandoms crossovers are awesome. The usual suspects (Eriol-tachi gen, Clow-tachi gen, Clow/Yuuko, Touya/Yukito...) are also welcomed. Now, if you want to write/rec/icon a particular series, because they're so many, just ask me directly what I like for that fandom. Making a list of EVERYTHING in CLAMPverse I'm into would be draining.

Fullmetal Alchemist: I prefer manga canon. Anything with any Xing character is awesome! In this fandom my pairings are: Ling/Lan Fan, Ed/Winry, Al/Mei, Trisha/Hohenheim, Izumi/Sieg, Rebecca/Havoc. I'd also love friendship fic/art or family fic/art (my kingdom for fic featuring Scar and his sexy brother) or group genfic/art (particularly Scar-tachi or old!Greed-tachi or Roy-tachi)

Ace Attorney: The only pairings I'd seriously want are Desiree/Ron (yay minor canon married people!) and Klavier/Ema. But guys, I craaaaaave for genfic/art here, especially of the fourth game variety. Fill the blanks for any character's past! Give me families! (hobo!Phoenix + his adopted children -you can throw the Feys, too, as sort of cousins; Skye sisters resolving their differences; Gavin brothers marking their differences; the Kitakis being pretty gangsta themselves; Lamiroir trying to contact her kids) Or you know, anything involving friendships, or characters who weren't friends in canon bonding.

Okami: ANYTHING.

I mean it. Anything.

Tales of Symphonia: I'm not that much of pairings here, for some odd reason, although I'm really fond of Zelos/Sheena. My top favorite characters are the Sages, Zelos, and Sheena, although I love the whole party. Okay, maybe Kratos not so much. Guess I'm not asking for family bonding with Lloyd. I'd love anything gen centered in any character but Kratos... unless it's 4000-era Mithos-tachi stuff, I'd love that.

And if anyone is up to the challenge, I'd love you forever if you make me a header with this image or that one (I'll try to find a downloadable version, give me some minutes)

Tales of the Abyss: I'm almost done with this canon, so I can do this! Peony/Jade, people. As friends, as a romantic (...or as "romantic" as you can get, being Jade) pairing, separately, flashback tiemz in Keterburg, with or without Saphir|Dist around, with or without Peony/Nephry, with or without rappig silliness. I don't care. I want to find fanworks of them of any kind like burning, but I don't dare to poke this fandom because the Japanese part is massive and I don't feel like wading through Sturgeon's Law.

Anything non-ecchi featuring the party's female characters, any of them. Natalia, Tear, Anise, I love them so much more than red-headed stereo emo duo. And you know who else? Noelle, bitches. Because of one title sidequest, I've been left vindicated of me liking Guy/Noelle even if it was crack, so I want to actually see Noelle giving Guy flying lessons because it happened. I like Guy when he's a fon machine nerd, sue me.

Natsume Yuujinchou: GOOD ICONS OF THIS.

Vinland Saga: I'm curious to see what kind of fanworks there are so anything that's not Askeladd/Thorfinn is a plus. Anything flashback with Thors (me and my kickass fathers thing), or something centered around Canute, would be best. I kind of like the idea of Canute/Thorfinn. Does it exist?

Baccano!: Jacuzzi/Nice. Isaac/Miria. That is all. Well, okay, I'd also read Claire-centered fic as well because he's so insane it's awesome.
