Such a manly dungeon, that one
Agsadfghsfh. In three days I've managed to get to the part I was in Persona 4, when I played the NTSC burned version. Maybe it's the fact I paid to own that game what made me so determined. I still suck enormously, of course, and Shadow Kanji beat the crap out of me. My main issue in dungeons is how I run out of SP so fast and the items to replenish are hard to get or made of fail -there must be something other than TaP cans. Fuck you, kitsune, with that price you could fill up my HP as well.
My head hurts, so... I'll take a break with that. I should play a Tales tomorrow instead, to relax.

I'm really weird in the fact that I don't like or care much about most of the Ouran characters. I sort of READ that series for Tamaki, so that must be a solid yes for you.

It's a good fantasy story, so more people should give it a chance. Not the fandom itself since it's batshit and wanky and filled with ship wars, but it's a nice series with cool characters.

Well, Revolution seems sort of crappy and I didn't finish it, but the first TV series were cool sauce. I heard the novels are quite good. I have no idea if the fandom did revive or not.

My favorite part is the Kyoto arc, hands down. Best fights, best villains, best new character introductions.

The anime is fillertastic, but the manga is one of the best shounen I've read and perhaps it ruined the genre for me. People should check it out even if it's just for the roots.

I actually read the manga for the first time years ago, out of boredom. I was checking out project pages of scanlators I liked to see if there was something interesting. In Toriyama World they had six chapters of this, and I downloaded the first one because the title and cover were intriguing. I digged it. Some time after that the first anime was announced and it got a fandom! Man, I feel old now.Get off my lawn!
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I already moved on from the fandom because of some wank. I'll always love the series and keep up with it until it ends, however.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
I refuse to choose chapters. I do enjoy flashback parts the most, though.

Not anymore.

CLAMP in general

Probably Cardcaptor Sakura being broadcasted on cable TV. I got into it in the middle of the series for shallow reasonsYue and Clow looked fucking cool during the Final Judgment, what?. Then I watched Magic Knight Rayearth and noticed it was the same creators. So I investigated on the intahwebz.
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I kind of WANT to move on. At least after the current series end and have their closure. I joke that I already substituted XXXHOLiC with Natsume Yuujinchou and Tsubasa with Tales of the Abyss in some way, heh.

I tend to like scenes/series that have my favorite characters the better. But in my current state of bitterness, I no longer want to see more of mine any longer. They're better off like this.

Estoy consciente de que se supone que los Persona anteriores (y las otras series de SMT, si vamos a eso) son mucho mejores -he oído que también más difíciles, pero puede ser caso de YMMV. Pero la cosa es que los otros juegos nunca me han interesado ni son el tipo que me llama la atención ni tengo ganas de jugarlos. Seguro los puristas me odiarán por eso porque soy ese tipo de fan bandwagon. No es cosa de que P4 sea más comercial o más jugable o más realista. Es más, el gameplay no es lo mío porque no soy buena en turn-based y me quiero morir de asco la mayor parte del tiempo.
Entonces por qué lo quiero jugar tanto al punto del masoquismo...? Es la historia. La historia y la premisa me gustan, pero más que nada es el equilibrio entre las cosas dark y las cómicas (que es algo que siempre me ha gustado). No sé cómo son los personajes en P3, pero los de P4 me hacen reír. He dejado muchos JRPGs a medias porque después de unas 10 horas o menos de juego me daba cuenta que no sentía apego a nadie. Con sólo un par de horas de P4 sentía que podía llegar a querer a muchos del cast y eso nunca me ha pasado con un RPG puro. Por eso intento ser paciente y de hecho quiero terminarlo. P3 no me da la sensación de que pueda hacer lo mismo para mí o que sea mi taza de café, aunque me dé más SP refill.
