And the jeep is so cute, too

Books were shipped this morning :D

Last Friday's Avatar episode was just so awesome I wouldn't know from where to start.

Yuna and Tidus from FFX are retarded. "Come on, practice your laughter!" "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!1!" "...okay, AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" And then they LOLed while the rest of the party is like "...WTF" Perhaps with a lot of facepalm while we weren't watching. Gotta love annoying main characters. Except not. I was dying of embarrassment, and I'm not even inside the game.

Color director is starting to annoy me. GREEN? So WTF.

Still, kudakitsune, although less spunky and ♥-filled than its manga version (so far; I hope the hearts appear), is cute as a button. However, a couple of things:
1) I don't understand why they cut the pool. It's summer already. And if they didn't want to have Mokona merchandizing in the series, then draw a normal pool with some other design or just a plain one, Jesus. The lack of dorky Yuuko fooling around in a bikini and her healing from dehydratation (assuming it was that, because I only watched the raw) with mere sake depresses me.
2) Anime!kudakitsune seems a little too obsessed with necks. In the manga, it usually hangs inside clothes and peeks through the collar of the shirt. This one twists around people's neck like a snake, so hard it almost chokes them. I wonder about Watanuki's cervical condition after a whole episode of kudakitsune pulling his neck. And when it moves, it moves the host neck with it, so... ouch.
3) Watanuki got used to kudakitsune way too quickly. He was already petting it after a while. Then again, animators made kudakitsune save Watanuki's life having it pulling his neck to the sidewalk before a car/truck/something ran over him. So at the end, he was like "awww, even though you're giving me a neckache, you saved me and the Sue's pinky finger! how nice! *pets*"
Then again, after meeting anime!Mokona, kudakitsune must be a bliss for him.

The episode itself... went well, I think. Sue customer was annoying, but the plot could've been worst. Having Watanuki and Doumeki following her around like private eyes, with Kimihiro hiding behind menus, his briefcase AND a chicken statue was priceless.

The shippy comment about D/W's thread of fate was a biiiit over the top, though. Gosh P.I.G, Yuuko's 104 teasing is more of the subtleties, symbolism and sarcasm varieties. I doubt IC!Yuuko would go "you're screwed, Doumeki is your soulmate" so directly and without an evil, teasing grin. Don't be so straight-forward with the subtext, P.I.G, because this is CLAMP; there are better ways to please the shippers. I think I'd even be equally annoyed if I shipped them, but that's just me.

Haven't it happened to you guys? Just during exam time, you get into a new book/manga/anime/TV show/movie and fixate and read/watch it all, and you're suddenly liking it too much than it's healthy during exam time? And it distracts you?

Because that's the story of my life. Not happy with my new-found love for Good Omens, I had to go and read with no reason... the first series of Saiyuki. Finished volume 9 last night.

I liked the story a lot, actually, so I'll be following the rest when I procrastinate from studying I'm less busy. It's Gaiden first, then Reload. Right?

And I have a huge crush on Sanzo. He's too hot. Eeeeeee. I bet you were expecting me to physically like Hakkai better. So did I; this came as a surprise. But Sanzo can be so pretty~
