Ugh, why do I do this

When I say I'm done with CLAMP, I try to mean it. But then, I still like some manga they've done, and I still ended up watching the first episode of Kobato because I wanted to see Ioryogi setting shit on fire in motion. I mean, it's hard! It was my first fandom and it seems I cannot drop every part of it since it's so extensive and not all of it was sucked by angst and/or crazy twists.

So for my own reference, a color-coded table of series and whether I still give a damn or not.

Reddish: Dead to me, or not caring anymore
Green: Still cool in my books (or until another manga rips it apart)

20 Mensoo ni Onegai	Never actually finished this one, but it's okay since it's Campus-verse, I guess
RG Veda	So many cool characters, but in retrospective the more time passes by, the more I hate the Yasha/Ashura plot to infinity. AAAAAAA.
Tokyo Babylon	I love you, Hokuto, but shit got too annoying for everyone after you left. I know it wasn't your fault your brother's a retard technically in this manga, but still.
Clamp Gakuen Tanteidan	Not exactly a masterpiece, but Nokoru is sparkly and it's Campus-verse.
Gakuen Tokkei Duklyon	NEVER STOPPED BEING AWESOME. AND RIDICULOUS.
Shirahime-Syo	It's so tragic, but it's a good kind of tragic and really beautiful. They should do more short stories IMHO.
X	I stopped caring about everything years ago. If Fuuma doesn't destroy the world, the angstbulance will.
Shin Shunkaden	Eeeee fake-Korean badass traveling OTP! Don't retake this ever again, ladies.
Magic Knight Rayearth	Stopped caring about this one, too.
Miyuki-chan in Wonderland	Never liked it anyway.
Watashi no Suki na Hito	Ugh, realistic shoujo.
Cardcaptor Sakura	...I don't know. It pains me to think about Clow, but I can't dettach from some characters. So unless HOLiC rapes it too much...
Wish	Kobato can still fuck it over, but so far the minor characters are still fine.
Clover	Right now, for me this is their best piece of work artistically speaking.
Angelic Layer	Eh, I was there for the Mihara brothers and the Sai/Kaede lesyay. It's really meh, however.
Suki Dakara Suki	Oh God, it was so fucking boring. Needed moar writer guy.
Gouhou Drug	Stopped caring. Unless it becomes the Kakei and Saiga Show when it goes back, I doubt I'll retake it, so no.
Chobits	Jesus in a roller coaster. Not even minor pairings can save the main plot.
xxxHolic	DEAD TO ME.
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle	WHAT A TWIIIIIIST!
Mokona Modoki no Bouken	Tsubaholi ruined Clow, Yuuko, and Larg to me. My chest is in physical pain when I think about this.
Kobato	ETA: Changed my mind. Not even the plushies can save this.

I like it even though the two lead characters are indifferent to me. Then again, in comparison they're both nice people/beings at least, so I'm fine with them.

ETA: I meant Wish. In Dukylon I like all four main characters :'D

I never liked Clamp and I tried reading a few things (but maybe it was the wrong things like MKR, Chobits, and X). But maybe I will give Clover a chance one of these days,since it's so short.

Clover is tragic, I must say, but not in a headdesk-y way. But it's interesting.

I'd say you should read Duklyon. It's two volumes of pure silly sentai parody. Good to pass the time, and doesn't feel CLAMP-ish at all.

I have honestly no idea. It can't be the plot, and it definitely can't be the fandom. It might be because it was the first series I was an active fan for, compared to my usual lurking. It's years of memories, bad and good, and to be fair CLAMP didn't poop on its canon as much as I thought they would. For some reason I still love and respect the Eriol-tachi even if Eriol's birth now has some plotholes. And CCS!Touya/Yukito are safe in the end, too.
