I'm confused about when this is supposed to be in the game. Not being able to understand the dialogue doesn't help.

Also, the intro makes me want to see what they did with Yuan. He has shown up already, right?

No clue about Yuan's role, I haven't watched the previous OVA yet (maybe they just wanted to animate his Pantene hair!). But considering they tend to make up scenes on the fly all the time, I don't think any of this is supposed to be in the game at all!

I doubt it's supposed to be in the game, I just can't figure out when in the game's storyline it's supposed to take place. I think I saw Altessa, but Colette is still all angel-y! The rest of the Tethe'allans aren't part of the main group! And just what underground place are they in, and why are they there?

Yuan appeared in the past OVA for explaining about Cruxis and Yggdrasill, sort of like he does in the game, except that the setting is not quite the same. They have messed with the timeline quite a bit.

I'm finding it annoying that Zelos just recognizes him and says it aloud like that, unlike the game where he knew it but wouldn't say until they got to Altamira. It sucks the mystery out of Regal; then again, they're already sucking a lot of things out of him. Or more like, they're already sucking as an adaptation PERIOD
