BTW, did you hear what the new Kenshin anime is about? Maaaan, I'm so fucking disappointed! That's the ONE ARC that was done splendidly in the TV anime, what's the point?! (beyond testing waters by playing safe, which I still think it's a bad way to do so in any case)

And yes, that was rather disappointing news, wasn't it? The Kyoto arc was great in the anime, I don't see why they want to remake it when there's so much manga material that never was properly covered to begin with.

The Kyoto arc was flawless in the anime, to the point I secretly measure shounen manga adaptations with it. Honestly, I have yet to see someone who's not disappointed that it wasn't the Jinchuu arc, which was the logical thing to do.

Really? Because I thought that both Misao and Kenshin look awful in that one. It feels more like an average fanart in Deviantart than an official promo pic. The style doesn't seem to fit Kenshin too well either.

I do agree that Kenshin himself looks odd and the style's strange for the series. Not sure why I find Misao so adorable. ^^;
