Kanji stupidity

Spelling in Japanese for Clow Country is in kanji. I investigated; is this right?

玖 (ku): beautiful black jewel; nine
楼 (rou): watchtower; lookout; high building

In other news, stupid ideas for animated icons are hitting me. Expect this flash animation spinoff coming soon:

Syaoran: What happened?
Kurogane: Someone set us up the bomb.
Fye: We get signal.
Syaoran: It's you!
Kyle: How are you, gentlemen? All your feather are belong to us.
Syaoran: What you say?!
Kyle: You have no time to survive make your time. Ha ha ha ha!

I'm a dumbass ^^UU And I'm tempted to do a "lions and panthers only in Tomoeda" one.

Hello. :)

Del Rey translates the kanji as 'eternal' and 'tower', but when I looked them up in the dictionary I got:
玖 【きゅう】 (n) nine (used in legal documents);
楼 【ろう】 (n) tower; turret; lookout; belvedere;

So I don't know. And, um, it's my pet theory that Yue was Clow's High Priest...
