I had a bit of an adventure today, so I thought it would be fun to share it and practice my narrative English.
I had to make errands today with my uncle, in order to get my Spanish nationality. We went to the Justice Tribunals, and it's such an original building. It's made out of brownish stones from the shore, giving it a strange yet nice texture for the eye. When we got in, the lobby was an open space, interrupted by a big spiral staircase. You could see the upper floors from below, thin hallways delimited by stone balconies. The floor was a marble one, brownish as well. It was a surreal feeling, as I've dreamt of that kind of architecture before (I'm sure I've have, I remember I've seen things like that in my dreams.) I liked the place, for that particular reason: I can imagine it.
After all the issues we had to face, we went down the street. My uncle had other things to do, so we got separated. I went to a department store, "El Corte Inglés", in order to see how much the optical mice were, as my mouse is being such a bitch since last night, and mind you, still is.
That was my official excuse, at least. Normal women or girls would go to El Corte to buy clothes or fashion stuff. Me? Direct to the DVD section, then to the Computer section, and finally to the Books section. I think I only stopped to see a handbag. Clothes there are kind of expensive for my incomes anyway.
In started glancing at the anime DVDs. You know, the usual drool over series I have seen but I'll never buy on DVD. Kenshin. Furuba. The usual stuff. Until I saw the ultimate temptation...

OMG! I didn't even know it was licensed in Spain! *dies dead*
After a lot of effort, and checking the PoA DVD price, along with a lot of movie packs (Star Wars... T_T), I could get to the computer section and find the cheapest optical mouse. Job done, now let's go to books.
Now, my real target, apart from the mouse, was The Count of Monte Cristo. I'm sick of reading it as an e-book. Sadly, after combing every bookcase I was able to see, there was no paperback version, and I'm so not buying a hardcover book of it. Sorry. I'm not even buying the hardcover version of The Neverending Story I also saw today. So I decided I was gonna wait a little, get my library card and then borrow The Count after my finals.
Of course, I'm still a geek, so I was checking books I'd like to buy. I stopped on the Tolkien section, and I hesitated about buying The Silmarillion, the last "famous" Tolkien book. Meanwhile, I took The Book of Lost Tales I in my hands, because I'm a creepy fangirl, and flipped the pages until I could read the name Eriol. *squees and fangirls* Yes, I'm that sick, sue me. I'm reading that one, too, after The Silmarillion. 'Cause in the end, I bought that one.
So that was my stupid little adventure. I'm so sedentary even a visit to a huge department store is a thrill. I have no life.
