10 fan-ish admittance of shame. Taken from a lot of people.
1. I feel indifference for Renji Abarai. No, really. I don't get why people worships him so much. I don't find him any handsome, sexy or particularly sweet. I even get annoyed for the excess of Renji fanservice.
2. I can't get the hang of Naruto, even if my life depends on it. I don't know why; I've read 10 volumes, and I'm still not hooked by anything/anybody. Why? I don't know.
3. The real reason I keep downloading Trinity Blood is Abel's looks. So yeah, I got the first episode because I wanted to watch something dark to change the pace, but the reason I'm hooked is Abel. I mean, long hair in a ponytail, fake glasses and a dorky face? It's like someone put my fandoms in a blender.
4. In Zelda: Ocarina of Time, I ship Link with Sheik. Not Zelda, Sheik.
5. I talked crap about HP before reading it, and I looked pretty much guilty when I bought the first book out of curiosity after watching a preview of the movie. I got hooked on chapter 1, ate the four books in a week, and felt like crap because I surrendered to a book trend.
6. When I was a preteen, I imagined (I didn't write, thank God) a Star Wars Sue. She was Han Solo's half sister, and I'm not continuing listing her qualities because it's just so awful and cliche it makes me cry.
7. I'm convinced Naoko is more compatible with Eriol than any of the other females of the CCS series -and I have a list of logical, objective reasons. However, I don't want to openly ship them, since Naoko is a reflection of myself and it feels odd.
8. I'd definitely buy "Soel to Larg: Mokona Modoki no bouken" (aka, the Mokona Modoki book), even if I know squat Japanese, just because it's the Bible for Clow and Yuuko canon interaction. Besides, I can always scan it and get someone to translate it... right? ;_;
9. If the zashiki warashi (the Valentine's day stalker spirit girl) was human, I'd ship her with Watanuki like whoa.
10. I loathe Chii. She's everything in a female main character I hate. I don't care if she's cute, I can't stand her or Freya. I admit I even understimate people who uses avatars/icons with her.
Special mentions:
* I'm buying all CLAMP no Kiseki, even the issues about series I don't care about and with chess pieces of characters I don't like, just in order to gather the coupons and get my Kero and Suppi pieces.
* I tend to forget a lot of faces and names in shounen mangas. ie, Bleach's shinigamis.
* If it wasn't for every crossover (not including Sakura and Syaoran) in Clow Kingdom at TRC, I had never passed to even chapter two, considering Tsubasa as a canon AU Pit bad fanfiction.
* And now we're at it, I think I like TRC!Clow!Touya/Yukito more than CCS!Touya/Yukito. Maybe it's the exotic touch.
* After I dissed the pairing so much, and drove Estefanía insane over IM with my reasons to be anti-Ishihime, I started shipping them as soon as he was obviously crazy for her, when they were watching Ichigo's fight with Byakuya and she was going on about how Rukia is special to Ichigo. When I saw Ishida's face, I was doomed to accept it since I'm sure he loves her and I want him to be happy.
There, you can start hating me.
