Ways to kill a day

Uh, in the end I signed up for tarot_challenge with FMA manga. Good thing is, I started working on them yesterday. Bad thing is, I used it as an excuse to reread the manga ("I need to find good images!") Good thing is, I finished all icons in one day. Bad thing is, maybe I'll use one of them for an icontest so I won't post them until next week.

And now a question/debate for the people who reads me. I hope this can be civilized.

OTP. Short for "one true pairing". There are several definitions for this term, depending on each person.

But which one is the one you follow? Do you see OTPs as a favorite couple in a fandom? Or do you see them as couples you can't break up in your mind, and it'd take a lot of effort or would be impossible to be convinced to read a fic where one of the members is in another couple?

Analysing my main OTPs, I believe I go by the second concept most of the time. I'll edit and explain more later, but meanwhile give me your opinions.
