taotrooper: It's a polar bear dancing the hula; your argument is invalid (Yuuko / Magnolia scent)
First of all, got confirmation from Arakawa's hand about the canonness of the Beijing Opera reference on the Xinguese masks. Score! Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] csakuras and an anonymouse lurking in her journal.

Meanwhile, I just got an email from YesAsia:

@#$%&

Good news is, a LQ raw version of the movie is hitting torrent sites as we speak. There's a link at Kimihiro.net's news blog, if you're interested and haven't seen it locked in several places.

I downloaded it and watched it yesterday, and I loved it. It was batshit and LSD-tripy and pretty-looking. Except for Yuuko's boobs, of course, and hands in general. The hands of characters are freakishly long. Watanuki's seiyuu? Love ♥ Doumeki's seiyuu? Love ♥ Himawari's seiyuu? Fitting. Yuuko's seiyuu? I still don't like it, but I got used to her. Mokona's seiyuu? It was TC!Mokona's seiyuu, so it was BAD. Actually, movie!Mokona scared the crap out of me, along with Maru and Moro, who looked like colorful zombies.

But the movie was good, and creepy. It was like a low-budget Japanese terror B film meets Spirited Away.

The crossover was right at the end, when Syaoran, Sakura and movie!Tomoyo-Sue talk to Yuuko via Mokona to ask her a favor. The part at the trailer remaking the travelers at Yuuko's place wasn't there at all. I wonder if it was just trailer deceiving, or if it's featured in the Tsubasa movie.

Anyway, I'll make a summary with screencaps in the next days. Except me to mock it a bit since I'll be making dialogues up, thanks to my lack of Japanese.
