I can't back up everything. I'll have to reformat the desktop as it is tomorrow. At least I think I saved the most important stuff, even though I'll be losing loads of random scans and manga chapters and video.

Because the system is so unstable not recognizing the video card, it freezes or reboots on its own. And how the fuck am I supposed to print the shit I have to learn for next Wednesday otherwise?

My old Windows XP copy won't recognize the old serial number (oh piracy). And it's too obsolete right now to find keygens (it was pre-SP2). So now I have to download a brand new Windows and of course, the Spanish torrents are too slow and/or dead.

Sigh, I'll have to get a copy in English. I hate to have my OS in another language, mostly because the cryptic error messages are even less comprehensible in the original, and I'm used to some terms in my native language so I fear not finding some commands right away. It's a silly thing, considering my career, but Microsoft shit in English scares the crap outta me.

I guess I'll just install one in English with tons of torrents provisionally, won't install/copy absolutely everything I need -just, like, the printer software and Firefox and Adobe Reader-, and after finals I'll fetch for Spanish alternatives more calmly. The priority is printing documents ASAP, so I'll focus on that.

ETA update: Three hours later, Larg is formatted and running on US Windows XP Professional o_o I renamed the HDD partition to Yuuko. Sadly, I lost all my episodes but the fansubs for Ayakashi and a couple of albums and some assorted AMVs. The pretty CLAMP scans for random shit and the FMA raws, however, are lost forever. I'll have a lot of crap to hunt when I get the time for this.
