Oy, textbooks
Dec. 10th, 2008 12:40 pmI've seen at least three textbooks, through all my degree, that begin their chapters with a geeky quote. Not so odd. Nerdy, perhaps. But this one book takes the biscuit, considering each and every quote happens to be from Don Quixote.
BTW, it's a book about the Unix operative system. And the dude still manages to find quotes related to all titles, even if it's a similar word included or whatever (like, for the file and directory chapters, he goes for literal RL files, and so on; I'm still amazed he found a fitting one for processes, and the one for pipes is amusing if you know what a pipe file is).

Quijote II-58
