lluvia was proposing a meme to explain the name here, so here I go with mine. Tao Trooper is sort of my current nick for new accounts lately. It's my MSN account, my AIM account, my Inksome account (![[inksome.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/ink-userinfo.gif)

It's a reference to Okami, my favorite video game in the history of ever. The Tao Troopers were an institution a la Torchwood (sort of lower scale yet still as made of fail) formed by onmyouji soldiers. The formal name is "Tao Master Special Investigation Troop", and their HQ float above the capital city of Sei-an. They wear silly masks and large hats. I sort of love them a lot, even if it's just three people. But mostly, I like the combination of the two words. It has a strange ring to it, and it's geeky enough without making me sound like a weeaboo.
