The weather is so lovely today I went and took a walk around the zone. I mean, I've been living here for over a year, and still hadn't checked anything but the supermarket and the sucky video rental out. And mind you, we have a park and a beach nearby (I kinda dislike beaches, though). And I need exercise. So after school I put on some comfy sneakers and decided to take advantage of a day in which I wouldn't have to wear a jacket to go out~

My mp3 player (called Watanuki, incidentally) decided to collaborate, and as soon as I left the house it started playing the happy-go-lucky One Piece folder in all its J-pop glory. ADEQUATE. I'M GOING ON AN ADVENTURE *___*

It was pretty neat. Green grass. Tiny flowers. Birdies singing and flying. Tall and small trees. Smell of the ocean. Sound of the waves. Wooden tables to walk over the sand without entering the beach. Wooden benches to sit on. People on bikes and motorcycles. People taking out their dogs -there were these ladies with a black retriever and a dalmatian, so cute.

It was relaxing. I felt like smiling just because.

Watanuki received that name because it's black with a white line and white buttons. NO, REALLY. Most adequate name for the color combination. Too bad the LCD screen is green and not blue like in the box photo, though.

My mp3 player is black, and quite reliable and big. I was going to call it Doumeki Shizuka, but I didn't want any too weird questions if I had to connect it to someone else's computer at some point. Because I've already been asked about naming my laptop "Aziraphale".

This reminds me. WE GOT A PS2. Non-gamer Laurus and her non-gamer siblings decided that TV sucks and we needed a new hobby, and since all three of us gor Unexpected Sources Of Money we bought the console.

I haven't bought Okami yet but I will as soon as I remember to ask my friend where did she get it. :DDD

I'd rec you games, but I honestly don't know for which ones you'd be able to handle the controls -and this is said by someone who only plays easy games. But maybe you could try out RPGs since you need little manual dexterity, and the plots for those one are mostly fantasy-oriented. I have no patience for them, but at least you wouldn't be button-smashing the shit out of baddies.

Honestly, I have no idea how the hell I'd pull that one off since the worlds are so incompatible. But still, I keep making jokes about Amaterasu being Nippon's dumber equivalent of the Doctor, including companions, one fruity captain (although the Tao Troopers are even more useless than Torchwood TBH), and a "clap if you believe!!!" arc finale. Plus, alien-origined monsters, and even a couple of WTF time travels.
