a) Persona 4 anime, which is almost old news by now. Honestly, I do understand why the mistrust because it's very easy to get it wrong. But it all looks and sounds SO SHINY. I don't care if it's bad or good, bring it on.

Too bad this came out the day before my trip. I missed a lot of Yu puns on Tumblr because of that. I don't mind the name that much although I like Souji Seta better. Yu is puntastic, so it's great. I do have a bone to pick with Narukami because in my heart of heart, I will always link it to Matantei Loki. *will use Thor in his roster the next time she plays P4*

b) OMG. Rurouni Kenshin anime project to be developed. IS THIS THE REAL LIFE, OR IT'S JUST FANTASY? PLEASE DO NOT SUCK, WHATEVER YOU ARE. I'm not sure I want a manga-compatible remake, unlike the rest of the fandom. I imagine it would be less Brotherhood and more DBZ Kai because shit is old-ish. The Jinchuu arc would be fucking excellent and I'll be sad if it has nothing to do with it. But you know, as long as it's not original garbage with crazy stuff (like fighting religious Mary Sue terrorists, German templars, or magical WTFeng Shui) I'm all for it.

c) Wow, the Kuragehime manga is being scanlated so fast! I love that.

d) The Dream World in PKMN sucks major balls. No, sorry, it's so boring it's a chore to do stuff there. Also, am I the only one who feels like it's a glorified Facebook flash game? You even play it online in a computer, FFS! I wanted to do that shit in my fucking NDS anywhere, you idiots! Not that it would be fun anyway, because one you're past the minigames and old pokes with new movesets/abilities? It's STILL a Facebook game! Like, you plant shit, you decorate your house, you visit your friends... it's fucking Pokéfarmville!! DW sickens me.

We don't know what this new anime is about, or whether it's a TV series or an OVA or a movie. Just that it's more Kenshin!

And sort of, yeah. Jinchuu would be the arc with Enishi as the main villain, so the flashbacks of Tomoe and the his past were a sub-arc of it IIRC. I don't think they'd only do that part since the first OVAs did it perfectly. But like I said, who knows what they'll choose to animate.

still I'm completely cautious about the new anime - Kenshin is such a huge part of my teenage years and I love it so dearly that it would really suck if they make something horrendous.

Those times where you didn't know what fillers were, and why the quality in storytelling would suddenly be down to garbage level. I still think that season had some of the worst fillers I've ever seen in anime, TBH.

It would be so easy for them to do something horrendous. I remember how excited I was for new Slayers, and I dropped it like hot potatoes before episode 10. I think I don't learn from my mistakes and I still get excited for stuff that will most likely suck ass.

The news about Persona 4 anime reminded me I really need to play the game!

And RuroKen news are so incredible, I would have never expected it! I agree with you, I don't think they're going to do a remake (leaving out some fillers and the "religious Mary Sue terrorists, German templars, or magical WTFeng Shui" as you say, the anime was pretty nice).

Incidentally, Namikawa will do the main character XD Of course, in the game they were just random names yelling in battle, so it'll be interesting.

The RK anime gave me such high standards for shounen animation, regardless of fillers. (It helped that I never got too into DBZ and I always found Saint Seiya ridonculous!) I really want to rewatch at least the Kyoto arc, as it's one of the most epic shounen anime arcs ever. But yeaaaaah, the LOLCHRISTIANS arc was not that bad (but GTFO of Sano's pants angst, Virgin Mary), the LOLKNIGHTS arc went over my head and I can't remember anything, the WTFENGSHUI arc was just so bad I never finished it.

Yes, for me it was really impressive and I still think it's one of the best shounen animes out there (even some filler episodes were not *that* bad). But the arcs were ridiculous, especially the Feng Shui one. I could more or less get over the others, but that one? Mindfuck XD. I wasn't veeery fond of Sayo and his brother neither. The only good thing of that arc was 1/3 no junjou na kanjou &hearts

(WTF Namikawa, that guy is everywhere XD)
