We're cursing it

I've bitched enough with haibara_kun and gingetsu on YIM about the weird FMA yaoi pairings. One of the usual subjects, as my favorite minor character is Ling Yao, is the current trend of slashing him up.

Okay, I try to be tolerant, sure. Even if Ed/Ling is going strong in fics. Because Ed is always the fandom's whore.

But the sad thing is when our pseudo-prophecies about what cracky ship is next start to come true. First, I see a couple of fangirls commenting in a fm_a post about how Envy/Ling is hot *shudders*. Then this morning I saw a crossoverish thing with Harry Potter/Ling (I kid you not). But the worse thing was witnessed this night/morning when I discovered the first (and I hope the last) Armstrong/Ling fanfic O_________o

*brain breaks*

What are we, psychic?! Who's next? Bradley? Roy? Gluttony? my money is on an Ed/Ling/Envy/Gluttony orgy

Update on the mosquito war

We bought the "poisonous gas". I just plugged it, and let's see if they dare touching me tonight. I'm literally falling in pieces here. Two nights in a row with next to null sleep is hell. Especially if you don't drink coffee like me.

Today is going to be released Eldest, the second book of the Inheritance Trilogy, by Christopher Paolini. Of course, in English. That means there's no way I can get the book without Amazon, as this is no Harry Potter book you can find even in the department store around the corner.

And that sucks a lot, because I don't want to wait for it to be translated to Spanish. It's going to take months!

I'll have to embrace spoilers and piracy, yet again. It could take days to track an e-version of the book, though.
