taotrooper: It's a polar bear dancing the hula; your argument is invalid (Mouse vs. Kittyhiro)
Short story: I had a practical assignment for OS I due today. So it's been like two days of "it still doesn't run wellllllll" assorted angst, and wishing it was already Saturday -a Saturday in which the practice was already handed over, that is.

And I come here to college early, so I could ask the teacher stuff, just to find that the new due date is Monday 11 *facepalm*

Then again, my lab class is on Wednesdays, and next Wednesday is a holiday. Which sucks. In the end, I'll have to be asking around next Monday if I can't solve my stuff today. I'm tired of this. I keep sacrificing OOP practices over this crap!

ETA: Dammit, I'll have to do the program all over again. It'll be a FUN weekend.

Meanwhile, amuse me ask me fandom randomness? D:

1. This guy's death is so, so, so WTF. Well yeah, kinda matches his former lifestyle if you think about it, but dude. It looks like the MO came from a Hollywood movie or a very elaborated mystery novel or something fictional O_o Because poisoning people with radioactive agents? Definitely creepy. It just doesn't seem like a real life thing.

2. My reaction to redo a whole assignment from almost scratch? Going to the library :D And again, I keep wondering if Pterry and Gaiman are all I borrow from there these past months even though I think I've read everything by them so far so I won't be having that problem soon. So anyway, borrowed Stardust and Men at arms (oh, my first Guards book! *can't follow an order in Discworld for her life*)

3. Meme. Go to PopMusic and find the year you turned 18, or the year you graduated high school. Bold the songs you liked and strike through the ones you loathed at the time.

Why did 2000 suck so much? )

So MANY songs that annoyed the shit out of me that year! Also, the excess of Britney and the Timberland annoys me even more now they're both, like, everywhere. Dammit, media, I don't care about Britney's divorce, her useless ex-husband, or about her private parts showing up when she's gay for partying with Paris Hilton or whatever. UGH.

Music yay

Today was the AIDS day thing, and I never get to do anything. Not even the ribbon. It's kinda sad.

So, I'm not sitting through MTV's pro-condom testimonials because there's nothing better on TV, and because AIDS -while I never had to experience people with it- was one of those traumas of my childhood (my mom had an informative booklet with a photo of a sick, pale 4-5 year-old kid on a bed, and let me tell you that's SCARY).

Instead, I'll plug some music AIDS took away from us.

I've always said that if I were a fruity gay man, I'd take Freddy Mercury as my diva, instead of Cher, Barbra, and all that cheesy cliché crap gays in sitcom listen to. Because dammit, he was an amazing singer and Queen was awesome, no matter how evil Pterry and Gaiman said on Good Omens.

I still haven't gotten around to download collect all their albums, but here you have one of those Greatest Hits compilations for you to download. Maybe you can put it in your car stereo and pretend you're Anthony Crowley driving the Bentley. Or you know, just listen to it.

Tracks:
- Bohemian rhapsody
- Another one bites the dust
- Killer queen
- Fat-bottomed girls
- Bicycle race
- You're my best friend
- Don't stop me now
- Save me
- Crazy little thing called love
- Somebody to love
- Now I'm here
- Good old-fashioned lover boy
- Play the game
- Flash
- Seven seas of Rhye
- We will rock you
- We are the champions
- I'm in love with my car
- Under pressure (live)
- Tie your mother down (live)
