I know at least three persons on my flist love Monkey Island. I found this flash animation summing up the first game ^^

Am I the only one who thinks there's something really fucked up about the city the Ace Attorney games are suppose to take place in? It's like, do cops do anything at all? Or are they all either lame or rotten corrupt? (Disclaimer: I love Gumshoe as a person, but seriously, he's slowwwww)

And I don't mean it because of the murder cases, no. Actually, I say it because of the non-murder things. I mean, so far I know the following people/organizations are roaming around and don't get punished in the end:
- Mafia
- Black market
- Hired assassins
- Phantom thieves
- Blackmailing galore (unless they happen to be the killer or the victim, that is, because then they'll die and shit)

I bet there are more kinds of delinquents (drug dealers, everyone? :D) But so far, what a bad impression. I wouldn't like to live in there... It's not like they're all busy with the murders or anything. The police chief only cares about Asian soups and emailing teenage girls. CREEPY. Funny, but creepy.

I guess I shouldn't be complaining, though. Because of things like double jeopardy and police lameness, my OTP got a happy ending! Yaaaaaaay.
