taotrooper: It's a polar bear dancing the hula; your argument is invalid (Alphonse / Take this)
Maaaan, why am I so sporadic in my posting lately?

I've been at my mom's performing some lame catsitting while the rest of my family is on holidays. The plus side about this is that I've been able to play in my brothers' 360 and watch some cable channels I don't have back home. Also, I'm all alone except for the nightmare with fangs and claws -ask how my legs are!- so I can do and eat almost whatever I please.

Incidentally, I own Tales of Vesperia now! Guess what I've been playing for the last few days.

(I strongly suspect Raven will end up being my favorite character, just by the fact he's the annoying mysterious older guy who pops in and out, so only one more trait I like to yell bingo.)

Oh, and I also got the pretty Abyss doujinshi I was expecting. I bought this pack of eight Keterburg-centric doujin (which I now affectionately call 'the keterburgers') on eBay for 30€, which was ridiculously cheap. I'll scan them one day. I'll post pictures when I get back home because I forgot the camera USB cable.

Anyway, I've just skimmed my flist for the last past days. If I missed something important, please poke me? I'm too scared to read pages and pages back.

I... don't even remember what I've been doing for the past days. I've been mostly exhausted and lethargic and depressed and I have no idea what else. I did play a good amount of video games after I returned home.

→ I spent a whole day on Tales of the Abyss, going from the second visit to the Tower of Rem to Eldrant. I attempted to fight Nebilim in very hard and failed extraordinarily. THE SHAME.

→ Finished Void Quest in Persona 4 a couple of days back. The same day I went to spoil myself about a character's s.links in youtube. Yes, feel free to gasp at me and call me things for spoiling myself a SMT game. But I regret nothing. And he broke my heart a lot.

→ Oh, and I found a place where I could download Tales of Fandom vol. 2! Yeah, the Phantasia/Symphonia/Abyss crossover with tons of minigames and extra stories, also a goldmine for my Tales OTP (really!).

Ah, and I bought Tales of Vesperia online in a British store, 8 euros cheaper than it would be here. No, I still don't own a 360, but if it arrives soon I can take the chance and play at my brothers' while I'm catsitting next week. I'll probably get a second hand console because they're cheaper.

And now I must ponder on whether to bid this extremely cheap doujinshi auction at ebay or not!

Aaaaagh, just end already, week! Now I got my period, not faaaair.

1. I do wonder about the trend with American (and Japanese) anime companies streaming series online. Because, you know, I'd think it would be cool if only they wouldn't IP-block other countries. Then, unless it's a monstrously popular thing, you won't see underground/secret fansubs around. So anyone outside North America is pretty much screwed and left to wait for native fansubs which are lot slower.

2. Oh crap, the scan about the Namco Tales news wasn't fake?! D: D: D: I-I'm still getting the 360 ToV version, bitches. I've said it in several places already, but retconning a story to add a new character and new relationships just reeks of possible Gruyère-like plotholes. Just look at the current CLAMP mangas for an example.

3. In more relevant-to-my-interests novelties, yet another ToA manga spinoff called Tales of the Abyss: Tsuioku no Jade, which I'll hopefully call "Can It Be Keterburg Teims Nao?". Huh. And the writer is one who wrote the game script. The strangest thing, however, is the fact that it's going to be published in Asuka. Does anyone scan the whole magazine, btw? Also, how long will it be, Gaiden-length one-shot or what? It's really odd, but Sunrise's homepage mentions Nebilim so obviously I want to see this like burning. (Is this a sample of the mangaka, however? It looks like an average fanart, bleh)

4. Speaking of manga spinoffs based on videogame, here's manga based on a videogame spinoff (pffft). Gyakuten Kenji. More Edgeworth, yawn hurray. *waves the tiniest flag* I want to play this game, but this manga doesn't seem that interesting or fun. And a Gyakuten Saiban 4 official manga for when, CAPCOM? Sob, I'll settle with one chapter, even. (Gumshoe's faces are priceless, though!)

- I think I forgot to mention I made an icon post a week ago. Oh, and also, I have this concrit/suggestion thingie going on just in case you wish to say something about my shitty stuff.

- New Zelda game for the DS! I bet I'll buy it and never finish it *glances at Phantom Hourglass, and Minish Cap, and Twilight Princess, and...*

- Tales of Vesperia comes to Europe on June! ...Oh, right, I won't have a 360 by the time. It's still good to know it'll be out, though.

- My package is already in Spain *rubs hands*

- I wonder if CLAMP's mangette will be art-wise like XXXHOLiC, judging from that cover. They've managed to have me intrigued by having lotus blossoms and a creepy lamb-goat thing on it. *pokes the lamb-goat*

Rita Mordio from Tales of Vesperia?

I swear, in some alternate universe she's got to be Ema Skye's magical sister. And I'm not saying it only for the character design.

That is all.

ETA: Re: Ouran.
Slow chapter is slow. Cute, yes, and lots of friendship going on, but slow. Now another month for more plot.
