taotrooper: It's a polar bear dancing the hula; your argument is invalid (Okami / bloom for praise)
1. You know, I wouldn't trust an English (as a foreign language) academy whose ads offer "conversation clases". If this was a typo or Murphy's law at work, I feel sorry for them. But spelling errors are kind of a big deal here to make an impression.

2. ...Mom, normally girls have virtual pets online when they're fifteen top, not fifty. I swear her internet usage is going backwards. And she doesn't even like the pet that much, she's just doing it because her Facebook contacts are pimping their horrid pets' houses and she got jealous since she's a competitive bitch. I wouldn't mind this much if me liking manga and videogames was childish, but throwing a fit because she can't afford a bed for her ugly SD cat on Pet Society wasn't. WTF.

You can't leave her near casual games. Seriously. Talk about addictive personality.

3. My brothers have a bunch of strange books from when they were kids; some are bought by them, some are presents from a cousin of ours. I think they didn't even read a quarter of them. I was looking at them last night. While most of them are Goosebumps books and the like, I spotted a crappy-looking sci-fi-esque series with the following titles:

- Clónicos integrados (integrated clones)
- Tiempo pirateado (hacked/pirated time)
- El código chino (the Chinese code)

...Dude, is Fei Wang Reed secretly a children's book author? O_o Either way, they look way too crappy to read for the lulz.

4. Apparently, my iPod's shuffle function really likes Unintended by Muse. Last week it played it twice, but attention! Because it did in the way back home, on the bus, and while we were crossing around the same area. That's freaky.

Since I had to go to the bank today, I took a chance to get the goddamn ipod. Incidentally, the poll was pretty much 50/50 on the colors, so it came down to me. And of course, I took my decision in the most possibly sensible way.

I tossed a coin 8D

Well, more like I dropped the coin on the store's floor after twirling it a bit, but yeah. Heads purple (Klavier), tails blue (Tear). It landed showing the "5 cents" side. Then I noticed, a bit late, that Euro coins do not have sides with people on them. Now seriously, what side is heads in those?! So I attempted to give the sides a logic. In Spanish 5 cents, one side had the number, the other had the Barcelona cathedral. The logic was: cathedral → church → Daath → Order Knights → Tear → blue. So that meant the result was purple, so I bought purple :D

Oh, and I got it a pink-purple case, so it can look even more Gavin-like. The colors are similar ^^ E-even if there are three pink patchwork flowers sewed over it. MY IPOD SO MANLY, DAMMIT. Will upload photos later, but a pizza is waiting for me.

I'm still trying to figure out how to sync it with iTunes. I foresee several afternoons of changing metadata on mp3s before uploading albums. I already have some messed up songs and I just started O_o *is afraid to put OST songs on it*

Because it was two days after Día de Reyes, meaning everything was sold out. I saw some 8GB models, but I wanted the 16MB one. And either in blue or purple. I reckon I'll wait one week or something till they're back in stock.

[Poll #1328101]

I think blue looks the coolest of the lot in person, to be honest, but I really wanted the purple one for my own geeky reasons.

Anyway, since I wanted to get me something nice for passing that exam, I got:
- FMA #18
- Mushishi #8
- Inkheart by Cornelia Funke

Speaking of which, I'm starting to gather my info for the Mushishi fansite. My first problem, however, comes with the stories' titles. For instance, in the Spanish translations of both anime and manga, the titles are translated with different words as they were translated by different companies. And of course, they're in Spanish, and translating a translation is ridiculous. So I go online to hunt for the English titles, only to find that there's the same issue with Wikipedia and ANN. I might probably also have different names from the official releases (FUNimation and Del Rey), unless one of those is actually FUNi's.

So as weeaboo as it is, I'll use the Japanese titles with a translation next to it. I'll probably just either pick the nicest one from the two options or use the official FUNi one. The second problem is with the manga-only stories (which are the last five volumes), as I don't have the Japanese chapter titles at hand, plus waiting for Del Rey releases to get an official English title would be ENDLESS. The first part can be solved by downloading raws. Besides, I could recruit someone's collaboration to romanize (and perhaps translate) the titles.

Now I must check what can I do about the mushi's names. I bet that'll be the largest problem.
