I don't know how many of you haven't watched that epic video "Battle at Kruger". Basically, some guy on a safari at South Africa got to film some lions hunting a buffalo calf. Except then some crocodiles tried to snatch it from them. And then the herd came back to fight for it. It's as epic as it sounds, and I don't want to spoil the result.



Well, I just caught a documentary on National Geographic channel focusing on meta about the video. It was so meta, they brought the good youtube comments. Dude, can you be more meta?

Why am I always amused to see internet stuff in different media?

Once I got "JEM" on the Megaupload captcha, but I forgot to post it and then lost the screencap. Truly outrageous!

It gets really strange when your mom goes and tells you over the wank they had with the main administrator at their Spanish-speaking cat photo group at Flickr. In one hand, you feel extremely embarrassed by both your old woman and the crazy bitch with whom she has the fight with, and want to interrupt and say "why the fuck are you telling me this I don't care" (but I figured she'd need to let it off her chest). On the other, and that might be the part of me that reads fandom_wank, I thought it was hilarious! There was name-calling, trolling and spamming (by the admin, no less!), menaces of leaving forever in four days, one or two banhammers, several women in Argentina not going to bed because someone is wrong on the Internet!, the bizarre bonus of people calling each other on the phone as some sort of odd alternative to flocked posts (so people supported my mom on e-mails... and phone). And the coup of grace: the crazy admin bahleeting her own account, leaving several important pictures as red X's (taking her toys and leaving?).

I'm still not reading the wank or what's left of it, however, because I dislike crossing the Internet streams to my mom's corner of the 'tubes. Too bad, because the admin sounded extremely batshit and my mom actually didn't wank that much on public.

It took a good effort not to laugh at the phone when she told me, or going "ooh, banhammer! lol troll!" at several points of her narration, I'll tell you that.

I've been only awaken for one hour, and I've been Rickrolled THREE TIMES already. This year's April's Fool is proved to be a bit unoriginal.

(Por cierto, si tienen curiosidad. Si dejan pasar unos días después de que se les vence un dominio en Aruba? Al reactivártelo todos los archivos siguen ahí! A Dios gracias, parece que no me han borrado nada y no tengo que hacer upload de todo el website. Ya estaba preparada a sufrir con el FTP esta tarde, y resulta que no. Claro, ni idea de cuándo me los hubiesen borrado. Ahora me pregunto si mis cosas de Lovegood.net siguen en alguna compu italiana ô_o)
