But noooooo. At my mom's right now, trapped between 9th grade Math classes that are going horrible, and translating crap for my mom's Flickr group that's so cheesy I find it horrid. And I can't release stress or run away or send people to hell.

My head is pouncing. I need to be cheered up urgently.

Help? ;_; Distract/console me with shiny? Not youtube/video links if possible because, er, connection is a bitch right now and will be for the rest of my stay in this fucking place.

Groaaaaaaan. So much for starting new traditions, as I won't be able to do Yuletide this year. I'll be too busy till the 17th, and well... I doubt I can get myself inspired enough in only four days. That's how I work.

...Sadly, I realize how I won't get any fandom presents because of this. Sure, there are one million secret santas out there, but (besides not being sure if I'll have the time to do any) I can't think of one exclusive fandom I want to give and receive in -unless they're dead fandoms, or it's so full of weird people it turns me off. Piffle Fanfic is adorable, but I'm so sour on CLAMP lately I can't tell if I will be write in that fandom in a couple of months.

It feels a bit lonely.

I was really happy today ;_; It doesn't help when you see people all "oh, but you can buy it! I got mine days ago!" NO, I CANNOT, DUMBASS. STOP RUBBING IN.

1. .......His voice sounds like Michael Jackson or something, WTF.

2. No German ;_;

3. Is it me, or he sounds even more flirty in the translation? In the English version he's all smooth and polite, while here every time he talks to Trucy he sounds like he's hitting on her. He even used the word "bombón", and that's a term you'd use with someone who's hot, opposed to a cute little fangirl who's drooling on you. So he just sounds like a idiotic casanova interested in loli pedobait among other things.

4. In the end, the casual slang didn't annoy me nearly as much as the points above. He sounds less dorky-sexy and more of a jerk. They took away what I liked about him.

5. I know, I know. BAWWW CRY MOAR.

6. Wait, did I just dedicate a whole post to Klavier? LOOKS LIKE IT.

ETA: 7. I think it's the lack of Fräulein's what makes him sound so chauvinist (and sometimes even Herr's, in terms of politeness to men). They make him sound more polite and respectful, even when he's teasing around. That and the choice of words make his speech be more gentleman-ish in English, even with the random RAWK speak. In Spanish he just sounds like a brat with a large ego even in court -not that Klavier lacks the large ego, but at least he had style. I really don't get the "prince" vibes on Spanish!Klavier.
